SHOW CANCELLED

Pro Box North East regret to announce that the scheduled promotion, due to take place at the Rainton Meadows Arena on Friday March 7, has been cancelled.
The show, which was to be headlined by Kirk Goodings defending his English lightweight title against Gary Fox, has been hit by boxer pull-outs making the event untenable.

“I’m extremely disappointed,” explained promoter Phil Jeffries.  “Scrapping a show is always a last resort and never something that I like to go through with, but on this occasion there really was no option.
“We were down to five bouts after pull-outs, and going ahead with the show became unfeasible.  It’s a shame for the boxers that were due to fight on the bill, and for the fans that were looking forward to seeing the action, but it wouldn’t be fair on them to have bought a ticket for just five fights.
“I can only apologise and hope to get the bouts rescheduled in the future.”
