Fight Academy promoter, Dennis Hobson said: “This upcoming show is a huge event and a fantastic opportunity for one of Britain’s best fighters to announce themselves on the world stage.  World Title belts aren’t given away and this is a going to be a really difficult test.  I’ve worked with champions though including Clinton Woods, Ricky Hatton, and Jamie McDonnell, and managed to get them all onto the world stage – and it would be incredible to do it again this time.

“The last world title fight I was involved in was Stuart Hall against Randy Caballero in Monte Carlo in 2014.  That night Hall lost but I’m hoping for a different outcome this time.  This is going to be a big night for British boxing, and a huge sporting event in the North of England.  I’m really excited to be getting this show on, and look forward to seeing as many people at the press conference as possible when we can finally reveal all.”
